Use of proceeds & accountability

The Economic Space Foundation is committed to deploying contributed capital transparently and effectively toward defined roadmap milestones. Accountability is ensured through clear governance, independent audits, milestone-based fund release, regular reporting, and a long-term vision of increasing community oversight.

Contributors in the early rounds are directly fueling the foundational development of the network ecosystem, and the Foundation is committed to responsible and transparent stewardship.

Primary allocation of proceeds (from the seed and strategic rounds), released on defined roadmap milestones:

Accountability framework: Swiss foundation governance (Council, bylaws, internal controls); independent annual audits by Swiss auditors; technical and operational reviews, with key smart contracts (the bridge's among them) undergoing independent security audits; supervisory oversight by the Swiss Federal Supervisory Authority for Foundations; comprehensive reporting (yearly audited financials, quarterly progress reports on roadmap and fund deployment, public milestone updates); and progressive decentralization — the Foundation's bootstrapper role is expected to diminish after network launch, with community-based governance taking greater oversight over time, aligned with the mission to distribute agency.

The goal: contributions deployed effectively to realize the vision, with the transparency and integrity necessary to build enduring trust with the community, collaborators, and partners.
