Economic Space Agency exists to reshape economy as a space of agency: not something done to us, but something we co-compose.
The project has been, since 2015, simultaneously formal and affective: protocol design, and a desire for another way of organizing life. The two are one commitment. A grammar precise enough for accounting and computation is also what lets the experience of economy change.
The affective intent: to liberate economy from being felt only as constraint, debt, and scarcity, and let it be experienced as capacity, relation, and creation. An economy people want to join, because it recognizes and values their contributions, their relations, their creativity. Agency here is not a slogan; it is the measurable power to make state-changes in an economic network, and the project exists to distribute it.
The political intent: to decouple economy from capital as its only possible grammar, while recognizing capital as one grammar among others. Nothing is abolished by fiat. The work builds the institutional and technical conditions for plurality: different grammars of value running side by side, bridged, never collapsed into each other. This is also counter-power. If economy can be recomposed at the protocol level, economic power is no longer monopolized by the institutions that hold today's pen.
The strategic intent is bridge-first, and it is honest about the dependency: postcapital networks need capital liquidity to come into being, and capital needs exposure to what its own grammar cannot yet compute. The bridge, an agreement between two organizations with no operator by construction, makes it financially rational for capital to fund postcapital growth — funding by valuing the network, never by commanding it. Transition, one economic agent at a time, financially viable and socially desirable at once.
