Economic Space Agency in short

Economic Space Agency is an open-source project building the economic harness: the interface that makes a person, network, or AI agent an economic agent, and the protocol, substrate, and bridge behind it.

The starting point is a fact, not a program: the economy has always been computed. Accounting is its integrity protocol, and it is inherently distributed, relationship-centric, edge-shaped. When computation was scarce, meaning had to be centralized: a single price, a single ledger, institutions absorbing the overhead. The LLM-driven agentic stack is collapsing the cost that forced that compression, which makes the next configuration possible: distributed economic computation, where networks define, verify, and compute their own value.

The project has specified this for a decade. The output: PSP, the protocol, an economic grammar for networks that author their own units, relationships, and coordination; a substrate that meters verified economic state-changes; the economic harness, through which any participant joins and acts; and a bridge that lets capital fund the network by valuing it, never by commanding it. Agentic software did not change the problem; it made the specification executable. We did not pivot to agents. Agents arrived at our problem.

The organization matches the architecture. There is no company: an open project, named accountable stewards, and a Swiss foundation (the Economic Space Foundation) as the legal interface, with the stewards' own organization running on the substrate it builds. The specification is the asset; what the project distributes is economic agency, the measurable power to make state-changes in an economic network. Everything else on these pages is depth behind this paragraph.
